We are trying to honor that tradition by making as much of our own gear as possible. Our courses in wood canvas canoe building, dog sled construction, paddle making, etc demonstrate our commitment to the craftsmanship of Maine guides.
We also regularly offer Wilderness First Aid and Open recert courses as we believe it is our professional responsibility as wilderness guides to keep first aid training current.
